Marc Steven Bell is an American drummer. He began playing in New York hard rock bands, particularly Dust and Estus, before being hired to play drums for punk rock band Richard Hell and the Voidoids. After Tommy Ramone stopped beating the drums for Ramones in 1978 to become the band's manager, they hired Marc to play the drums and he took the stage name Marky Ramone, whom he became known for the rest of. his career. He performed with them twice, from May 1978 to February 1983 and from August 1987 to August 1996. He has also played drums for a number of other punk rock and heavy metal bands, and with his own Marky Ramone and Intruders.
