Buddy Valastro, born March 3, 1977, is an American baker. Buddy rose to fame as the head baker of Carlo’s Bakery in the reality TV series ‘Cake Boss’ which debuted on TLC in 2009. Since the immense success of the show, Buddy has gone on to open up 17 more bakery, sweets, and restaurant affiliated shops across the United States.
Although the series lasted from 2009-2017, Buddy appeared in a number of other series, including ‘Great Next Baker,’ ‘Bakers Vs. Fakers,’ and ‘Bake You Rich.’ For diehard TLC fans, he faced off against fellow baker Duff Goldman on an episode of ‘Buddy Vs. Duff.’ Buddy married his wife Lisa in 2001 and the couple has four children.
